Mary's (Houston)
Mary's was a gay bar, located at the intersection of Westheimer and Waugh Drive in the Montrose neighborhood in Houston, Texas, in the United States.[1] In 2011, OutSmart said that the bar "anchored" Houston's gay community in Montrose during its nearly forty-year history.[1]
Mural
Between 1990 and 1999, gay artist Scott Swoveland painted more than 500 scenes on the front window. His most famous was painted in 1997.[1]
