Career

At the 2003 Øyafestivalen Hagfors was honored by a number of his fellow musicians and joined them to form the band Cream of the Crop, playing a critically acclaimed concert of his songs. The band consisted of musicians from Home Groan, Jaga Jazzist, Motorpsycho, Hellbillies, Midnight Choir and Askil Holm Band. Hagfors has also written songs for artists such as Askil Holm, Elisabeth Andreassen, Helldorado and The Respatexans.[3]

In 2009 he released his first solo album Men and Flies, produced by Lars Horntveth.[1] His second album I Like You (2011) was critically acclaimed.[4] Hagfors played again at the Kongsberg Jazzfestival in July 2012.[5]
