The maroon-chested ground dove (Claravis mondetoura) is a species of bird in the family Columbidae. It is found in Bolivia, Colombia, Costa Rica, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Mexico, Panama, Peru, and Venezuela.
Its natural habitat is subtropical or tropical moist montane forests.
