Marliese Edelmann Ayala (born December 20, 1988 in Tapachula, Chiapas) is a Mexican beauty queen, actrees, model and TV presenter from the state of Chiapas. She was crowned Nuestra Belleza Chiapas on August, 2008 in Comitan, and elected Nuestra Belleza Mexico Costa Maya on July, 2008 by Nuestra Belleza Organization. She works for one of the biggest Mexican tv company TV Azteca where she has acted in soap operas Siempre Tuya Acapulco. Also she has participated in TV shows for Proyecto 40.

Biography

Representing her native state of Chiapas, Marliese Edelmann competed in the national beauty pageant Nuestra Belleza Mexico 2008, where she obtained sixth place among thirty-two other contestants, thus making her the first Chiapan to go so far in the national contest. She was crowned in Chiapas by outgoing Nuestra Belleza Mexico 2007 titleholder Rosa María Ojeda of Sinaloa and Nuestra Belleza Chiapas 2007 Natalia Ruiz. Edelmann represented her country in the international Reina de la Costa Maya 2009 pageant, held in La Isla Bonita San Pedro, Belize on August 7 of that year. Despite being one of the favorites to win the crown, she made the semifinals, ending her participation as the second runner up of the year.

She is graduated from Televisa's Centro de Educación Artística CEA. In 2008 she participated in the video "Yo soy Chiapas", where she shares the camera with artists of international stature such as Reyli and Lourdes Munguia.
