Mark Proksch is an American comedian, actor, and writer, best known for starring on the US television series The Office where he played Nate. Proksch also had the alias of Kenny "K-Strass" Strasser early in his career. He would go onto small market local news casts and pretend to be a yo-yo master. Inevitably, he would succeed in an attempt to make the newscaster feel very uncomfortable. This went on for sometime until his true identity was revealed. He appeared on WGN as well as the Conan show before moving on to a legitimate television career as an actor.

Television career

Proksch had a recurring role on the television series The Office as Nate, Dwight Schrute's lackey and the office handyman. He appeared in 19 episodes over the show's final three seasons. In March 2013, Proksch starred in the NBC television pilot "Holding Patterns". He also voiced the character Johnnie in the Adventure Time episode "Bad Timing". In March 2014, Proksch appeared in an episode of Portlandia as Carrie Brownstein's love interest.[1] In 2015, he appeared in the Better Call Saul episode "Pimento".
