Early Life

Marina Zudina was born in Moscow. Her father was a journalist and her mother was a music teacher. In childhood Marina did not show any talent for dancing and singing, therefore she did not participate in amateur performances. Moreover, in school she often failed to enrol different hobby groups. One day she tried to enter musical school, but was rejected. So, her mother decided to teach her. Marina started to take lessons of dance and singing. She liked them and made sound progress in both. That success raised her self-esteem much. When she was nine, Marina dreamt about career as an opera singer. One year later she took to ballet and even tried to enter choreography school, but failed due to her age. In high school she decided to become an actress and started to prepare to enter theater school of Oleg Tabakov (she was aimed to enter only that school). She worked hard getting prepare herself (for a year she visited phoniatrist to improve her singing) and passed exams successfully. Zudina graduated from State Institute for Theatre Arts in 1986 (monitors О.Tabakov and А. Leontiev) and soon she got job in theatre-studio of O. Tabakov in Moscow (being a student she played in several movies). Zudina started an affair with her teacher Tabakov. Nine years later they got married. They are happy together and have two kids: Pavel (1995) and Maria (April 2006).[2]
