Margaretha Coppier
Margaretha Coppier (1516 – 1597) was a Dutch noble and a heroine of the Dutch war of liberation. She is famous for having saved the lives of many from the Spaniards during the failed Protestant take over of Antwerp in 1574 by hiding them.
Coppier's act has been portrayed in literature and theatre.
