Mareks Lavrinovics (Latvian: Mareks Lavrinovičs, Russian: Марек Лавринович; born July 22, 1984) is a light heavyweight kickboxer and karateka. He is a former WFCA Baltic Muaythai champion, currently competing in K-1 and kyokushin karate. He made his K-1 debut in 2005 at Fight Night of Gladiators against Oskars Zonerfelds.

Biography and career

Lavrinovics had a successful karate career, winning Latvian champion title ten times and one time, in year 2005, he got a bronze medal in European championship of kyokushin karate. He made his debut in professional kickboxing in 2005 against Oskars Zonerfelds. He is trained by his father - Vladimirs Lavrinovics.

On September 30, 2006 Lavrinovics won the WFCA Baltic champion title tournament by three victories over Kiril Pshonko (Lithuania), Sandris Tomsons (Latvia) and Alan Pšednij (Lithuania).
