The many-colored Chaco finch (Saltatricula multicolor) is a songbird found in or near dry woodland in south-central South America in Argentina, Bolivia, Uruguay and Paraguay. It was formerly considered a member of Emberizidae, but genetic evidence suggests it is a finch-like tanager, although the family taxonomy has not entirely been worked out. It is monotypic within the genus Saltatricula.
