Manteño-Guancavilca

The civilization lived along the coast of Ecuador (in red).

Manteño-Guancavilca refers to the Pre-Columbian civilization that existed between 1100 and 1520.

Lifestyle

The civilization primarily grew fruits and vegetables, such as maize, peanuts, tomatoes, and squash. The civilizations built their houses out of straw or palm leaves.[1]
