Mandya (Kannada: ಮಂಡ್ಯ) is a 2006 Indian Kannada romantic action film produced and directed by Om Prakash Rao and written by Purushottam Rao. The film stars Darshan, Radhika and Rakshita in the lead roles.[1] The film is a remake of Telugu film Samba (2004) directed by V. V. Vinayak and starring Jr. NTR, Genelia D'Souza and Bhoomika Chawla. Some of the scenes also draws parallels from Tamil films such as Baashha and Madhurey.[2]
The film was released on 6 January 2006 across Karnataka cinema halls and got mixed response from critics and audience.
