Mandadam is a village in Guntur district of the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh. It is located in Thullur mandal of Guntur revenue division.[1][2] The village is a part of the new capital, Amaravati.[3]

Geography

It is located at a distance of 3 km from Krishna River.

Demographics

As of 2011 Census of India, the town had a population of 6,588, of which males are 3,272, females are 3,316 and the population under 6 years of age are 652. The average literacy rate stands at 68.95 percent, with 4,093 literates.[1]

Transport

Mandadam is located on Vijayawada and Amaravati route. APSRTC run buses offers transport services in the route. Nearest railway station is located at Mangalagiri.
