"Make Luv" is a song released as a single in 2003 by Room 5, featuring the sampled voice of Oliver Cheatham. It gained a No. 1 place on the UK Singles Chart on March 30, 2003, where it remained for four weeks.[1] The single's title track was a remix of Cheatham's 1983 UK No. 38 hit, "Get Down Saturday Night". It also debuted and peaked at No. 5 in Ireland, and stayed at that position for the four weeks it was No. 1 in the UK, while also peaking at No. 34 in Australia. Its success was partly due to its use in a popular television advertising campaign for Lynx Pulse deodorant. The duo released another collaboration, "Music And You" in 2003, which made No. 38 in the UK Singles Chart.[2]

In 2005, a new album, named Make Luv: The 2005 Mixes came out, which included official remixes by DJ Tonka, Laurent Konrad and Axwell.

Cheatham died on November 29, 2013, at the age of 65, following a heart attack in his sleep.[3][4]
