Majid Takht-Ravanchi (also Takht-e-Ravanchi) (Persian: ‌مجید تخت‌روانچی,[1] born 15 October 1958 in Tehran) is an Iranian diplomat and current Iran's deputy foreign minister for European and American Affairs.[2]

Education

Takht-Ravanchi holds a BS and MS from The University of Kansas in Civil Engineering, an MA from Fordham University in International Political Economy and Development, and a PhD from the University of Bern in Political Science.[3]

Takht-Ravanchi is a top negotiator of Iran, who accompanies Javad Zarif in the series of negotiation with the P5+1 (the U.S., Britain, France, China and Russia plus Germany).[4]
