Mahmoud Dahoud (born 1 January 1996) is a German footballer of Syrian descent who plays as a midfielder for Borussia Mönchengladbach in the Bundesliga.[1]

Club career

Dahoud joined Borussia Mönchengladbach in 2010 from Fortuna Düsseldorf. He made his first team debut at 28 August 2014 in the Europa League play-offs against FK Sarajevo in a 7-0 home win.[2]

On 23 September, 2015 Dahoud scored his first Bundesliga goal against FC Augsburg in his second starting eleven selection for Borussia Mönchengladbach.

On 30 September, 2015 with 10 interceptions, Dahoud had the most recovery balls in his first Champions League match against Manchester City.
