Mahadevapura is a town and a city municipal council in Bangalore district in the Indian state of Karnataka
Demographics
As of 2001 India census,[1] Mahadevapura had a population of 135,597. Males constitute 54% of the population and females 46%. Mahadevapura has an average literacy rate of 73%, higher than the national average of 59.5%: male literacy is 79%, and female literacy is 66%. In Mahadevapura, 12% of the population is under 6 years of age.
Electoral Aspects
Mahadevapura is a constituency in the Karnataka Legislative Assembly. Its presently represented by Aravind Limbavali. He was elected in the 2013 election from here with 110244 votes defeating Srinivasa A.C[2]
