Magok Station was an indefinitely closed underground railway station on Seoul Subway Line 5. The reason it was closed was due to a severely limited number of passengers using the station, even at peak time. A survey taken when the station was open proved that fewer than 50 passengers used the station on a given day. Passengers living in this vicinity used public shuttle buses to get to the next station. In 2008, the station reopened, by the request of inhabitants of the nearby area.
