Mae Sai (Thai: แม่สาย, pronounced [mɛ̂ː sǎːj]) is a village and tambon (subdistrict) of Mae Sai District, in Chiang Rai Province, Thailand.[1] In 2005 it had a total population of 21,697 people. The tambon contains 14 villages.
