Macroprotodon abubakeri is a species of snake in the Colubridae family. It is one of four species of the Macroprotodon genus. It is found in Algeria, Morocco, and Spain. Its natural habitat is Mediterranean-type shrubby vegetation. It is threatened by habitat loss.
