Mackensie Alexander (born November 12, 1993) is an American football cornerback for the Clemson Tigers. Alexander is the son of Marie and Jean Alexander. He has a twin brother, Mackenro Alexander.
Early years
Alexander attended Immokalee High School in Immokalee, Florida.[1] During his career he had 139 tackles and 10 interceptions. He was rated by ESPN as a five-star recruit and was rated as the fourth best overall player in his class. He attended the Army All American Bowl. [2] He committed to Clemson University to play college football.[3]
College career
After redshirting as a freshman at Clemson in 2013, Alexander started all 13 games as a redshirt freshman in 2014 and had 22 tackles.[4][5][6] He returned as a starter in 2015.[7]
