Maciejowa Wola [mat͡ɕeˈjɔva ˈvɔla] (German: Matzwolla, from 1938-45 Balschdorf) is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Banie Mazurskie, within Gołdap County, Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship, in northern Poland, close to the border with the Kaliningrad Oblast of Russia.[1] It lies approximately 9 kilometres (6 mi) north-east of Banie Mazurskie, 13 km (8 mi) west of Gołdap, and 121 km (75 mi) north-east of the regional capital Olsztyn.
Before 1945, the area was part of Germany (East Prussia).
