MComix is a fork of the Comix project, an image viewer specifically designed to handle comic book archives. MComix started after development on the Comix project came to a halt in late 2009.[1]
It reads images in ZIP, RAR, 7Zip or tar archives as well as plain image files. It is written in Python, uses PyGTK, the predecessor of PyGObject, and runs on both Linux and Windows.[2]
