MAM College of Engineering and Technology (MAMCET) is located in Trichy, Tamil Nadu, India. It was founded in 2008 by Maluk Educational Health And Charitable Trust. The college is patronized by Maluk Educational Health and Charitable Trust. The college was established in the year 2008 with the approval of Tamil Nadu Government and All India Council for Technical Education, New Delhi, and is affiliated to Anna University, Chennai. The college is governed by professionals from leading corporate and academia that includes former Vice Chancellors.

All the major tournaments including Basketball, Cricket, Ball Badminton, Football, Volleyball and indoor games like Badminton, Table Tennis and Chess have the active participation of our boys and Girls. MAMCET boys Football Team are the winners of TIES2012. MAMCET boys Hockey team are the winners of TIES2013 as well as TIES2014.

There is also an association for NCC as well as the Cultural Association.

Achievements

MAM Group Of Institutions, Trichy, conducted a 3X3X3 Rubik Cube puzzle with most students solving Rubik's Cube - 1255 at a time in MAM Campus on 15 October 2012. Actually 1260 entered the competition but only 1255 successfully made the grade within 20 minutes. World Record created. MAM Broke the world record of IIT Bombay. The achievement is enrolled in Limca Book of Records.

Career Guidance

The M.A.M. Civil and Public Service Commission Academy is headed by the former Regional Employment Officer Dr. P. Suresh Kumar, to motivate and aid the interested students in the field of Civil Services.

Proctorial system

A faculty member (Proctor) is assigned to take care of a group of 15 students, who guides and monitors them on academic and personal issues include anxiety of exams, change in culture, low level of confidence, problems in relationships and hostel life, decision making dilemmas, academic problems or adaptability to new environment.
