The Yugoslavian 60mm M57 Mortar[1] was generally based on the design of the US 60mm M2 Mortar. Today they are produced in Serbian company PPT Namenska,[2] And they are still in use in Serbian army Special Brigade.[3][4]
Purpose
M57 60mm mortar is intended to provide fire support on short ranges. It is capable to annihilate live force, firing posts, machine gun nests.
