M. Yousuf Ali

M. Yousuf Ali, born in the district of Dinajpur in Bangladesh, was the Reader of the Charter of Independence (1971), and Chief of the Ministry of Relief and Rehabilitation of the Mujib Nagar Government. He was also the first Minister for Education of Bangladesh.[1]

Political life

M. Yousuf Ali was the speaker of 'Ganaporishad' (provisional Parliament of Bangladesh) and he made oath of the acting president with ministers of provisional government.He was made chairman of Shromik League(labour front) of BAKSHAL (Bangladesh Krishok Shromik Awami League) by Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, then president of Bangladesh. After the death of Mujibur, he became minister of planning of ministry of planning of Mostak government.
