M.G.Nagamani (Tamil: எம்.ஜி.நாகமணி) (born 27 January 1950), is Dalit activist, State President of Republican Party of India (Tamilnadu) in India. He admired about Ambedkarisam and he joined as a member of Republican Party of India in 1972 which is founded by Dr.B.R.Ambedkar. He is the real Ambedkaritee. His political platform centres on develop the depressed people called(Dalit) by economically and strongly. He is fighting against untouchablity to ensure the equality to the depressed people.

He "Congratulated and Awarded by Tamilnadu State Government due to his Service against untouchablity" in 1992. Also he awarded as "Dr.Ambedkar fellowship Award" by Sahithya Academy, Tamilnadu Branch by 2002.

Contests

He Contested 4 times in Tamilnadu State Assembly election (1980, 1984, 1991,1996) also he is Contested Loksabha election in 1989 vide Republican Party of India.[1]
