'Lynn Wood' (b. May 4, 1932) is an American television actress.
Very little is known about Wood. She made her acting debut on an episode of True Story in 1961. She went on to have roles on: Dr. Kildare, Mission: Impossible, Iron Horse, The Wild Wild West, Hawaii Five-O, The Doris Day Show, The Mary Tyler Moore Show, and The F.B.I., among many others. These roles were generally brief guest spots that brought little, if any, attention to Wood's acting career.
In 1973 she signed on to play Mrs. Daphne Brookhaven (a spin-off of Mrs. Howell from Gilligan's Island) on the new western-comedy series, Dusty's Trail. The sitcom told the story of a wagon train getting lost from the rest in the middle of the American old west in the 19th century. Her husband, banker Carson Brookhaven, was played by Ivor Francis. After 26 episodes, the series came to an end due to low ratings.
Wood went on to appear on The Quest, The Waltons, The Young and the Restless, Dallas, WKRP in Cincinnati, and General Hospital, which is her last acting credit (1987).. She was married to character actor Ignatius Wolfington from 1972 until his death in 2004.
