Lukka Chuppi is a 2015 Malayalam family drama[1] movie written by Gafoor Arackkal and directed by Bash Mohammed. The film opened to positive reviews from critics,[2] however the box office performance was average.The film got good responses from audience after releasing the DVD
Plot
A group of friends including Raghuram (Jayasurya), Siddharth (Murali Gopy), Rafeek (Joju), Radhika (Asmita Sood) and Benny (Dinesh Prabhakar) get some time together after a pretty interval of 14 years along with their family including Siddharth’s wife Revathi (Ramya Nambeesan), Raghuram’s wife Ani (Chinnu Kuruvila), etc.
The film tells the story of a group of college mates; who gather together after several years, which leads to certain incidents happening between them. Lukka Chuppi delves into the lives of a group of married couples, where the husbands are close friends.
The story shows the group getting together after 14 years. The wives see a new side to their husbands suddenly, singing and laughing like how they were during their college days.
Resul Pookutty, the Oscar winner has done a fabulous job by using sync sound in the film; making a good quality sound designing in M-Town industry.

Critical Reception
The film opened to positive reviews. Muyals.com says that "The film delivers after life marriage friendships and love concepts; portrayed with a new treatment and wonderful performances; making the movie a must watch one".[3] Sify gave the verdict "Watchable" and said "At less than two hours, Lukka Chuppi can be a good entertainer, if you are not there for some heavy-duty drama. It has its moments for sure and can even remind you of your crushes and escapades from the past. Try this one".[4]
