Heratha Mudiyanselage Lucky Dissanayake Jayawardhana is a Sri Lankan politician who has served as United National Party member of parliament for Kandy District[1] and as a government minister.[2]

He entered politics in the 1980s as a member of the united National Party. He presided over the UNP National Youth Font. He was elected in the first Provincial Council election in 1988. There he became chief whip of the government and the Council vice chairman

In the 1993 Provincial Council election he was re-elected to the central provincial council and was appointed Minister of Road Development, Power and energy, Housing and Construction, Transport, Sports, Youth Affair, Art and Culture, Corporative Development, Food Supply and Distribution and Rural Development. He was made the UNP Chief Organizer for Udunuwara by President D.B.Wijethunge in 1993. He was elected a Member of Parliament for Kandy District in the 1994 General election. 2000-Member of Parliament - Kandy District 2001-2004-Minister of Lands & Deeds, *Chairman-Kandy district Development Committee 2004 -UNP Chief Minister Candidate 2004-2009-Member of Central Provincial Council chief whip of the opposition,UNP Kandy District Secretary,UNP chief organizer -Udunuwara Electorate 2013 -UNP Chief Minister Candidate Central Province, Opposition Leader CPC

He is married to Achala Wijethunge and together they have two sons, Madhava and Shamal Jayawardena.
