Luciano Acosta (born May 31, 1994), nicknamed La joya (in English "The Jewel"), is an Argentine football attacking midfielder. He currently plays for Boca Juniors.

Club career

Acosta made his professional debut for Boca Juniors on February 9, 2014, when Boca tied against Newell's Old Boys, replacing Juan Manuel Martínez for the 2014 Final.[1]

Acosta has appeared in the Xeneizes as a starter throughout the 2014 Torneo Final.

Acosta was sent on a season long loan to D.C. United of Major League Soccer. Acosta made his club debut in a preseason match against Tampa Bay Rowdies on February 13, 2016 setting up an assist for Fabián Espíndola in the 1–0 victory.
