Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series is a racing championship series for dirt late model stock cars, founded in 2005. It is one of two such touring series on dirt ovals in the United States.
Television
The series is broadcast on MAVTV.[1] It has been covered by CBS, CBS Sports, NBC Sports, MAVTV, and American Real Network.[2] For the final race of 2014, Discovery Canada taped a documentary featuring the top three drivers (Don O'Neal, Jimmy Owens, and Scott Bloomquist.[2] Also in 2014, the series had a mini-series of fifteen televised races and the winner received a $10,000 bonus.[3]
