Low Heights

Low Heights (in Persian: ارتفاع پست, transliteration: Ertefa'e Past) is a 2002 Iranian film directed by Ebrahim Hatamikia and starring Hamid Farrokhnezhad, Leila Hatami, Amir Aghaei, Reza Shafiee Jam, and Gohar Kheirandish. It was written by Hatamikia and Asghar Farhadi.[1]

Plot

Ghasem (Hamid Farokhnezhad) with his wife, Narges (Leila Hatami), his mother and other relatives and parents take a flight to Bandar Abbas, Iran, to get hired in an industrial company. Since the conditions of work and life are hardly satisfactory, everyone accepts the invitation with pleasure. Narges (Leila Hatami) is the only one who knows the true intention of her husband. Once the plane takes off and flies in the sky, Ghasem (Hamid Farokhnezhad) out a gun, disarms sole custody in the plane, the pilot goal threat of hacking and requires a change of destination to Dubai. At a time when the attacker and his accomplices are concerned about a conflict between them, the second security guard, loop the pirate by surprise maneuver him out of the gun. As the plane takes its way to the destination country, new pirates succeed, a maneuver conducted by Narges (Leila Hatami) to grab the gun and redirect the plane to Dubai. Shortage of fuel, the plane ends up crashing into the water in the middle of nowhere.[2]
