"Love and Hate" is a single from Ryuichi Sakamoto and former Frankie Goes to Hollywood singer Holly Johnson. The single was released in 1994. The song features Johnson on vocals. The video for the song was used for live performances of Ryuichi Sakamoto in order to have vocals from Johnson.

The song was written by Holly Johnson (lyrics) and Ryuichi Sakamoto (music).

Johnson recently stated the idea of working with Sakamoto came about through Bob Johnson, the first manager of Frankie Goes To Hollywood. Roddy Frame who Bob Johnson managed was a friend of Sakamoto.[1]
