Lorne Lyndon Memorial Trophy
The Lorne Lyndon Memorial Trophy is an annual award given by the Manitoba Junior Hockey League (MJHL) to the player adjudged to have exhibited the best type of sportsmanship and gentlemanly conduct combined with a high standard of playing ability during the regular season. This trophy was first awarded in 1966 (prior the award was the Cadet Trophy).
Named in honour of Lorne Lyndon, who was one of Canada's most renowned officials for 20 years, 1933-1953. He officiated six Allan Cup finals, three Memorial Cup finals, and the 1951 Alexander Cup.
