Localytics is a business intelligence tool that provides a combined analytics and marketing platform for mobile and web apps. Localytics' core mission is to help companies create personalized app experiences that drive higher engagement, loyalty, and lifetime value. Localytics allows mobile marketers and developers to gather user insights and provides predictive intelligence, automated marketing campaigns, and personalized push and in-app messaging.
Localytics has SDKs available for iOS, Android, Web, Roku, Microsoft Windows (mobile and desktop), OS X, PhoneGap, Xamarin, Titanium, and Unity.
As of January 2016, Localytics claimed to be used by more than 6,000 companies, in more than 37,000 apps, on more than 2.7 billion devices, and collecting 120 billion data points per month. [1]
Localytics was founded by Henry Cipolla, Andrew Rollins, Raj Aggarwal, and Brian Suthoff in 2009 and is based in Boston, Massachusetts.[2] It is backed by Techstars, and its list of investors includes Polaris Partners, Foundation Capital, and most recently Sapphire Ventures.
Localytics' clients include A+E Networks, CVS, eBay, ESPN, Fox, HBO, Microsoft, The New York Times, RueLaLa, Salesforce.com, VISA, and ZipCar.[3]
