Litvínovice (German Leitnowitz) is a village and municipality (obec) in České Budějovice District in the South Bohemian Region of the Czech Republic.
The municipality covers an area of 5.86 square kilometres (2.26 sq mi), and has a population of 1,941 (as at 31 December 2007).
Litvínovice lies approximately 3 kilometres (2 mi) south-west of České Budějovice and 125 km (78 mi) south of Prague. On February 11, 1929 in Litvínovice was recorded the lowest temperature ever in Czech Republic of −42.2 °C.
