The United States city of San Jose, California, known for its height-limited downtown skyline due to its proximity to San Jose International Airport, has over 46 high-rises, mostly in downtown.[1][2] 21 buildings stand taller than 200 feet (61 m), but no buildings reach 290 feet (88 m). With a population of more than one million, San Jose is the most populous city in the U.S. with no buildings of 300 feet or higher. The next most populous city in the U.S. with no buildings of 300 feet is El Paso, Texas.
