HDMS Prins Christian Frederick Denmark Dano-Norwegian Navy Battle of Zealand Point: The 74-gun ship of the line ran aground whilst engaged in a battle with HMS Nassau and HMS Stately (both  Royal Navy). She was captured by the British and was subsequently set afire and destroyed on 23 March.[40]

Batavia  United Kingdom The ship was wrecked at Bermuda. Her crew were rescued. She was on a voyage from Trinidad to liverpool, Lancashire.[138]
Brothers United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland British North America The coaster was wrecked on the north coast of Newfoundland.[123]
Charlotte United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland New South Wales The sloop capsized in a squall 5 nautical miles (9.3 km) north of Port Jackson with the loss of both of her crew.
Consolation  French Navy The corvette was sunk in a battle with HMS Foudroyant and HMS Marlborough (both  Royal Navy) sometime between June and September.[107]
Cygnet  United Kingdom The ship was wrecked in the Cayman Islands. She was on a voyage from Jamaica to London.[38]
Frede Netherlands Kingdom of Holland The ship ran aground in the River Plate.[106]
Frederica  Sweden The ship departed from Gothenburg for Malmö at the end of August or beginning of September. No further trace, presumed foundered with the loss of all hands.[120]

HMS Muros  Royal Navy The frigate was wrecked at Havana, Cuba whilst attacking a battery.[139]
HMS Rapid  Royal Navy The gun-brig was sunk in the Tagus by artillery fire. Her crew were rescued by HMS Primrose ( Royal Navy).[140]
Three Brothers  United Kingdom The ship foundered in the Atlantic Ocean with the loss of about 300 lives. Fifteen survivors were rescued by Alert ( United Kingdom).[141]
