List of municipalities in Gauteng

Gauteng province of South Africa is divided, for local government purposes, into three metropolitan municipalities and two district municipalities. The district municipalities are in turn divided into seven local municipalities.

In the following map, the metropolitan and district municipalities are shaded with various colours, the metropolitan municipalities are labelled with letters, and the local municipalities are numbered.
