List of iKON concert tours

The South Korean hip hop group iKON held their first concerts under the name SHOWTIME in South Korea. Since then, they have embarked on two concert tours (iKONTACT 2015 and iKON JAPAN TOUR 2016) both held in Japan.

iKONCERT 2016 : SHOWTIME Tour

On the 3rd of October 2015, iKON's debut concert SHOWTIME[1] was launched in support of the group's Korean studio album debut, Welcome Back. The concert gathered 13,000 fans and was broadcast live on Naver’s V app, where half a million fans were reported to have watched the event in real time.[2] Epik High And Jinusean performed at the concert as special guests.[3]

On the 20th of November 2015, YG revealed that iKON will hold an iKON-only concert on the 30th and 31st January 2016 at the Olympic Gymnastics Hall in Seoul, the same venue their debut concert SHOWTIME was held at.[4] Another two concerts in Daegu and Busan were announced on January 22, 2016.[5] On 30th and 31st January 2016, iKON successfully performed at Olympic Gymnastics Arena for their iKONCERT SHOWTIME TOUR in SEOUL gathering 24,000 fans in total attendance.[6]

iKON JAPAN TOUR 2016

iKON's Japan debut in January 2016 along with their first-ever concert Japan arena tour "iKON JAPAN TOUR 2016"[9] will take place in February. The plan thus far is to draw in a total of 146,000 fans from a total of fourteen concerts in five cities including Tokyo, Budokan, Fukuoka and Mecca.[10][11]
