The Yang di-Pertua Negeri Sarawak is the title of the largely symbolic Malaysian state of Sarawak, who is appointed by the Yang di-Pertuan Agong, or King of Malaysia. The title is in one of the 18-point agreement when Sarawak, together with Sabah, Singapore and Federation of Malaya established the federation of Malaysia.

The official residence of the Governor is The Astana, located on the north bank of the Sarawak River in Kuching.
