Bappa Rawal led the army that defeated the Arabs in the Battle of Rajasthan
Prithviraj Chauhan, a Rajput king of medieval India. He conquered Rajasthan, Punjab, Delhi and parts of Gujarat. He was killed at ghor by his own friend Chand bardai as Prithvi didn't want to die through anybody else's weapon from Ghor.
Rao Jodha, a Rajput king of Mandore who defeated the Afghan forces in Rajasthan and built the city of Jodhpur proclaiming himself as the ruler of Marwar.

Man Singh of Bari-Sadri. Jhala Maan singh is an outstanding dazzling example of extraordinary valour, bravery and sacrifice who shrouded with the glory of struggle for freedom. In the battle of Haldi Ghati in 1576, Jhala Maan decorated himself with the Crown and the royal emblem from Pratap and started fighting valiantly.Jhala Maan has set a unique example of bravery and courage by sacrificing his life to save the life of Pratap for his country.

Raja Chahar Deo, ruler of Chahar clan of Jats, ruled from the Narwar fort in the Gwalior region at the end of the thirteenth century. Coins of Chahar Deo are found in the region with Asawar sri Samant Deo marked on one side and a figure of the king riding a horse on the other side.

Shrimant Mahadji Shinde – Ruler of Gwalior state, Mahadaji restored the Maratha domination on northern India.. Under him Marathas re-captured Delhi and restored their power in North India in 1771.
Jayajirao Scindia - Jayajirao was created a Knights Grand Commander of the Order of the Star of India.
Rani Lakshmibai – The queen of Jhansi was one of the leading figures of Indian Rebellion of 1857 & symbol of resistance to the rule of the British East India Company.
Peshwa Bajirao – Known as Thorle(Marathi for elder) Bajirao and acknowledged as the most influential of the nine Peshwas. Helped conquer Central India(Malwa) and Rajputana and extended his dominions into Gujarat in the northwest and Deccan in the south. Raided Mughal Delhi in 1738. Bajirao fought over 41 battles and is reputed to have never lost one.
Raghunath Rao – Gifted Maratha General who defeated the Afghans & expanded Maratha empire upto Attock (ahead of Peshawar)
Kanhoji Angre – First notable chief of the Maratha Navy and popularly known as "Samudratla Shivaji" (Shivaji of Indian ocean)
Santaji Ghorpade – One of the most valorous Maratha sardars who fought the Moghals in the great battle of 27 years.

Shrimant Sardar Malharrao Holkar – Noble of Maratha Empire, in present day India. Is particularly known for being the first Maratha Subhedar in Central India.
Raghoji II Bhonsle – Was the Maratha ruler of the Kingdom of Nagpur in Central India, played important in Second Anglo Maratha War
Chimnaji Appa – Able military commander, liberated western coast of India from Portuguese rule, crowning glory of his career was capture of Vasai fort.
Nana Sahib – Was a rebel Indian leader during the Indian Rebellion of 1857 who played a part in two massacres of British troops and civilians.
Nana Fadnavis – The great Maratha statesman of the Peshwa period,he was called "the Marattha Machiavelli" by the Europeans.
Tatya Tope – Served as most successful general in the Revolt of 1857.
Babarao Savarkar – Was an Indian revolutionary, who was imprisoned in the Cellular Jail in Andaman.
Chapekar brothers – They shot W. C. Rand, an Indian Civil Services officer, was the First political murder in Indian freedom struggle
Hari Shivaram Rajguru – Indian revolutionist, was charged in the murder of a British officer J.P. Saunders at Lahore, a colleague of Bhagat Singh & Sukhdev Thapar.
Krishnaji Gopal Karve – Shot Jackson the Collector of Nashik was companion of Anant Laxman Kanhere.
Lokmanya Bal Gangadhar Tilak – Was the First popular leader of the Indian Independence Movement, British derogatorily called him Father of the Indian unrest.
Ganesh Damodar Savarkar – Founded the Young India Society which was a secret society.
Vasudev Balwant Phadke – Was an Indian revolutionary and is widely regarded as the Father of the Armed Struggle for India's independence.
Vinayak Damodar Savarkar – Man of multifaceted talents,thinker,revolutionary,writer,poet & above all an awe-inspiring patriot,founded Abhinav Bharat Society. The First Indian political prisoner who was sentenced to transportation for life twice. ° The First poet in the world who composed his poems and then wrote them on the prison walls with thorns and nails. ° The First indian leader whose arrest in London caused legal difficulties for British Courts.
Gopal Krishna Gokhale – Political Guru of Mahatma Gandhi, was elected president of the Indian National Congress, he founded the Servants of India Society.
Dada Dharmadhikari – Is better known as Acharya Dada Dharmadhikari, was an Indian freedom fighter, and a leader of social reform movements in India.

General J. R. Bhonsle - Appointed the head of the Hindustan Field Force of the First INA, later was appointed the commander of the INA.

Namdeo Jadhav - Receipent of Victoria Cross in 1945 from 5th Mahratta Light Infantry in Second World War while serving in Senio River, Italy.
Vishnu Bhagwat - Served as 15th Chief of the Naval Staff. Received Param Vishisht Seva Medal, Ati Vishisht Seva Medal.
Bhaskar S. Soman - Served as 4th Chief of the Naval Staff.
Jayant Ganpat Nadkarni - Served as 12th Chief of the Naval Staff. Received Param Vishisht Seva Medal, Ati Vishisht Seva Medal, Nausena Medal & Vishisht Seva Medal.
Pradeep Vasant Naik – Served as 19th Chief of the Air Staff of the Indian Air Force, received Param Vishisht Seva Medal & Vishisht Seva Medal.
Anil Tipnis – Served as 15th Chief of the Air Staff of the Indian Air Force.
