One of the first successful all-sports stations in the U.S. Adopted the format in 1991 (then at 590 AM), relocated to 850 AM in 1994, and began simulcasting on 93.7 FM in 2011. Since October 5, 2012, WEEI has carried the entire ESPN Radio programming lineup in pattern as ESPN on WEEI. ESPN owns a minority interest in the sports network TSN alongside its majority owner Bell Media: in 2011, the company converted three of its stations to a new sports radio network known as TSN Radio.
