United Bible Societies reported that the Bible, in whole or part, has been translated in more than 2,530 languages, including complete Old or New Testaments in 1,715 languages, including 55 sign languages, and the complete text of the Bible (Protestant canon) in 531 languages, as of November 2014. [1] According to Wycliffe Bible Translators, 2,883 have access to at least a book of the Bible, including 1,023 languages with a book or more, 1,329 language groups have access to the New Testament in their native language. It is estimated by Wycliffe Bible Translators that there are 1,860 languages (representing around 180 million people) that have yet to have any form of Bible translation. They also estimate that there are currently around 2,195 languages which have projects to get the Bible translated in progress.[1]
