Liskeard Athletic Football Club is an English association football club based in Liskeard, Cornwall. They play in the South West Peninsula League Premier Division.
History
Founded in 1946, they joined the South Western League in 1966, which they won twice. The club elected to join the Western League in 1979, and won promotion from the First Division a year later. They won the Western League once and finished as runners-up twice before returning to the South Western League in 1995. The club was a founding member of the South West Peninsula League in 2007, where they compete today in the Premier Division.
In June 2012 before the 2012–13 season, the club faced some bad news when the FA refused to allow them to enter any national FA competitions because they do not have toilet facilities in the home and away dressing room, and the referee's room.[1]
Ground
Liskeard Athletic play their home games at Lux Park Sports Association, Coldstyle Road, Lux Park, Liskeard, Cornwall, PL14 2HZ.
