Lise, Pierre et Marcel
Lise, Pierre et Marcel is a French-Canadian television mini-series which aired in 1987. The mini-series was an episode of L'Amour avec un Grand A and had 2 parts. The series is written by Janette Bertrand.
Plot
The episode tells the story of Pierre, a married homosexual man. He discovers he is attracted to another man, Marcel. He is forced to confess and we see the hard consequences which the family receives, especially his wife, Lise. Pierre decides to leave his family and live with his boyfriend. The subject of being married and a homosexual was particularly taboo for this decade. Janette Bertrand constantly brought up taboo subjects in L'Amour avec un Grand A.
