Lira Tskhovrebova

Lira Kozaeva-Tskhovrebova (born 1951) is a self-described independent activist and the founder of the "Association of South Ossetian Women for Democracy and Human Rights".

In December 2008 Georgia's Interior Minister, Vano Merabishvili accused Tskhovrebova of lobbying in the United States on behalf of the South Ossetian KGB secret service (and ultimately Russia’s FSB) and of spying on her Western contacts.[1]
