Lingala is a village in Krishna district of the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh. It is located in Gampalagudem mandal of Nuzvid revenue division.[2][3]

Population and economy

Lingala has approximately 3000 inhabitants and around 1500 homes. The economy was originally based on a rice cultivation. ONGC has explored Gas wells situated in the village, this leads many gas based industriesin the area around the village.[4][5]
