Linda McCulloch is the current secretary of state of Montana. She is the first female Secretary of the State of Montana.[1]
McCulloch is a Democrat and was elected to the office in November 2008 and took office in January 2009. She defeated Republican Brad Johnson. McCulloch previously served as state superintendent of public instruction from 2001 to 2009. She was also in the Montana House of Representatives, from 1995 to 2001.
McCulloch won re-election in 2012 for another 4 year term. In 2016, she will be ineligible to run again due to term limits.
