The Limerick Senior Hurling Championship is an annual Gaelic Athletic Association competition organised by Limerick GAA among the top hurling clubs in County Limerick. The winner qualifies to represent the county in the Munster Senior Club Hurling Championship, the winner of which progresses to the All-Ireland Senior Club Hurling Championship. Since 1928,[1] the winners of the championship are presented with the John Daly cup.
Kilmallock are the current (2014) Limerick senior hurling champions, after defeating Na Piarsaigh by a scoreline of 1-15 to 0-14 in the final at the Gaelic Grounds on October 19, 2014.
Roll of honour
Ahane currently lead the way, with 19 county titles, while Patrickswell are just one behind, winning their 18th title in 2003.
